Maite lives with her daughter Nerea in a shellfish farm in front of the sea. When Nerea announces that she is going to Barcelona, a strange crab enters the hatchery and starts to devour Maite’s brain from the inside, waking up her deepest fear: abandonment.
What starts out as an obsession ends up as a kidnapping. And Nerea, trapped by her mother’s sickly love, must choose between escaping or losing her forever.
